Bangkok welcomes Fairmont’s first Thailand property, blending modern luxury with striking botanical-inspired design.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has officially arrived in Thailand with the opening of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, its first hotel in the country.
Located in the heart of Bangkok, the new property features 416 rooms and 58 suites, bringing Fairmont’s luxury offering to one of the city’s busiest neighbourhoods.
The hotel takes inspiration from Thailand’s botanical heritage. Its floral theme appears throughout the property, including a striking lobby chandelier inspired by the Golden Ratchaphruek, Thailand’s national flower.
Food and drink are also a major part of the experience. The hotel will feature seven venues, including Harper’s, a North American-French brasserie, Aela Social Bar; and Caya Pool Club. A new supper club, Wiggle Room, is expected to open in September.
Wellness is another focus, with a Fairmont Spa inspired by Thailand’s jasmine flower, plus dedicated fitness, yoga, and training spaces.
For families and business travellers, the hotel also offers a Kids Club and more than 2,000 square metres of event space.
With its Bangkok opening, Fairmont has added another luxury address to Thailand’s growing hospitality scene, giving travellers a new high-end base in Sukhumvit.
