Booking Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

Welcome to Travel App UK. These Booking Conditions explain the terms under which you make a reservation with us. By confirming a booking with Travel App UK, you agree to the terms outlined below on behalf of yourself and all passengers included in the booking. We recommend reading this policy carefully before making a reservation.

1. Your Contract with TravelApp Uk

Where we act as an agent, the terms and conditions of the supplier will also apply to your booking. For full contractual details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

2. ATOL Protection

Travel App UK complies with UK travel regulations, including protection under the Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (ATOL) scheme where applicable. If your booking includes a flight and is ATOL protected, you will receive an ATOL Certificate confirming what is financially protected and where to get help if needed. Not all travel services are ATOL protected, and our team will clearly inform you at the time of booking if this applies to your itinerary.

3. Making a Booking

Bookings can be made via our website, over the phone, by email, or through authorised travel consultants. Once your booking is made, you will receive a confirmation invoice. It is important to check all details carefully, including passenger names, travel dates, passport information, and destinations. Any errors must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation. Incorrect details may result in airline penalties or additional charges.

4. Pricing and Availability

All prices displayed are subject to availability and may change until your booking is confirmed. Prices can vary due to airline fare changes, fuel surcharges, government taxes, currency fluctuations, or seasonal demand. Travel App UK reserves the right to adjust prices before confirmation.

5. Deposits and Payment

Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Payments can be made via bank transfer, debit or credit card, or other approved payment options. Full details can be found in our Payment Policy.

6. Book Now, Pay Later Options

Travel App UK may offer flexible payment plans on selected packages, including Umrah and holiday packages. Under this option, a minimum deposit is required, and a payment schedule will be provided. Full payment must be completed before ticket issuance or departure. Missed payments may result in booking cancellation, loss of deposit, and supplier penalties.

7. Umrah Booking Conditions

For Umrah packages, additional terms apply. Travellers must ensure they have valid passports, receive Umrah visa approval, and comply with Saudi travel regulations. Visa approval is subject to the discretion of Saudi authorities, and hotel and flight availability may change during peak periods such as Ramadan, school holidays, and other Islamic holidays. Travel App UK will assist with the process but cannot guarantee visa approvals.

8. Changes to Your Booking

If you need to make changes to your booking, requests must be submitted in writing. Changes are subject to airline rules, supplier policies, and availability. Additional charges may include airline amendment fees, fare differences, and administrative charges. Some tickets may not allow any changes at all.

9. Cancellation by You

Cancellation charges apply based on the time of cancellation and supplier rules.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Many airline tickets are 100% non-refundable once issued.
  • Refunds (if applicable) are processed only after Travel App UK receives the funds back from the supplier.

10. Changes or Cancellation by Travel App UK

In rare cases, Travel App UK may need to modify or cancel a booking due to supplier changes, operational reasons, or force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will offer an alternative travel arrangement where possible or provide a refund where applicable.

11. Travel Documents and Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, required visas, vaccinations if applicable, and meet all entry clearance requirements. TravelApp UK cannot be held responsible for denied boarding or entry due to incorrect documentation.

12. Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines may change flight times, aircraft types, airports, or routes. These changes are outside the control of TravelApp UK. Travellers are advised to reconfirm their flights at least 48 hours before departure.

13. Special Requests

Requests such as wheelchair assistance, seat preferences, special meals, or hotel preferences will be forwarded to suppliers but cannot be guaranteed.

14. Travel Insurance

TravelApp UK strongly recommends that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, and lost baggage. This is especially important for Umrah and international travel.

15. Customer Support

Our customer support team is available to assist with booking inquiries, amendments, travel assistance, and after-sales support. You can Contact Us via email, phone, or the website support form.

16. Liability

TravelApp UK acts as an intermediary between customers and travel suppliers. We are not responsible for airline delays, hotel service standards, or failures of third-party suppliers. However, we will assist in resolving any issues wherever possible.

  • Agency Role: Where we act as an agent, we have no contractual liability to you for the provision of the travel service itself. Our liability is limited to the professional selection of the supplier and the accurate processing of your booking.
  • Supplier Failures: We are not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, or cost resulting from the acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, or transport providers.
  • Force Majeure: TravelApp UK shall not be in breach of these conditions or liable for any delay or failure to perform services resulting from "Force Majeure" events. This includes, but is not limited to: war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, technical transport problems, closure of airports, and pandemics/epidemics.

17. Governing Law

These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled within UK jurisdiction.

18. Data Protection

To process your booking and ensure your travel arrangements run smoothly, we must use the personal information you provide (such as name, address, passport details, and any special requirements). We will pass this information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements, such as airlines, hotels, and transport companies. We comply with the UK Data Protection Act and the UK GDPR in all our dealings with your personal data.
