Welcome to Travel App UK. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of any travel services, including flights, holiday packages, and Umrah packages. By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you and all members of your travelling party agree to be bound by these terms in full.
The lead passenger, who must be aged 18 or over, accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all travellers named in the booking. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation, as they form a legally binding agreement between you and Travel App UK. They are intended to ensure clarity, fairness, and transparency for all our customers and to help you plan your journey with confidence.
Travel App UK is a UK-based travel agency operating under the laws of England and Wales. We provide a range of travel services, acting either as a travel agent on behalf of airlines, hotels, and other third-party suppliers, or as a package organiser for flight-inclusive or multi-service holiday and Umrah packages.
Where we act as an agent, the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier, such as the airline's conditions of carriage or the hotel's booking rules, also apply to your reservation. These supplier terms are available on request.
For flight-inclusive packages or ATOL-protected arrangements, an ATOL Certificate will be issued. This certificate confirms what is financially protected and provides guidance on what to do if protection is required. Not all services we offer are ATOL-protected. Our team will confirm the protection status at the time of booking, giving you peace of mind before making a payment.
When using the Travel App UK website, you agree to do so for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes only. You must not misuse the website by:
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information on our website, including prices, availability, and travel details, is accurate and up to date. However, travel information can change frequently due to airline adjustments, seasonal variations, or supplier updates. Travel App UK cannot guarantee that all content is error-free at all times and reserves the right to correct errors, update information, and change pricing without prior notice.
Reliance on outdated or incorrect website information is at your own risk. Prices and availability are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing.
A legally binding contract between you and Travel App UK is formed once we receive the required deposit or full payment and issue a written booking confirmation by email or invoice.
The lead passenger is responsible for ensuring all passenger details provided during booking are accurate and complete, including:
Any errors or omissions must be reported within 24 hours of receiving confirmation. Corrections made after this period may incur additional charges from airlines or suppliers.
Bookings are always subject to availability and acceptance by Travel App UK and our travel partners. A booking is not confirmed until written confirmation is issued. Verbal quotations or estimated prices do not constitute a binding offer.
All prices quoted by Travel App UK are subject to change until your booking is confirmed. Variations may arise from airline fare adjustments, changes in government taxes or levies, currency exchange rate movements, fuel surcharges, or seasonal demand fluctuations. Once full payment has been received and tickets have been issued, your price is guaranteed, except where increases arise solely from changes in government-imposed taxes or charges beyond our control.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit amount and final balance due date will be stated on your confirmation invoice. Failure to pay the balance by the stated deadline may result in automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit. For last-minute bookings or bookings made close to the date of departure, full payment may be required at the time of reservation. TravelApp UK accepts payment by debit card, credit card, and bank transfer. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted systems.
For selected packages, including Umrah and long-haul holidays, TravelApp UK may offer flexible instalment payment plans at its discretion. A written payment schedule will be provided, and all instalments must be completed before ticket issuance. Missed payments may result in cancellation, forfeiture of sums paid, and the application of supplier penalties.
Requests to amend a confirmed booking must be submitted to TravelApp UK in writing. All changes are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant airline or supplier, applicable availability, and any fare rules in effect at the time of the request. Amendment charges may apply, including airline administration fees, any difference in fare if the revised fare is higher, and TravelApp UK's own administration charge. Some airline tickets are issued on a non-amendable basis and may not be changed under any circumstances once confirmed. TravelApp UK will advise you of the applicable restrictions at the time of your request.
If you wish to cancel your booking, written notice must be provided to TravelApp UK as promptly as possible. Cancellation charges will apply from the date written notification is received and are calculated as a percentage of the total booking cost, as set out in the table below. Certain airline fares and supplier arrangements may be fully non-refundable from the date of booking, regardless of the notice period given, and this will be disclosed to you at the time of reservation.
| Period Before Departure | Cancellation Charge | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 56 days or more | Loss of deposit only | Deposit is non-refundable |
| 29 – 55 days | 50% of total cost | Or deposit if greater |
| 15 – 28 days | 75% of total cost | Subject to supplier terms |
| 0 – 14 days | 100% of total cost | No refund applicable |
Where a refund is due from an airline or supplier, TravelApp UK will submit the request on your behalf and keep you informed of progress. Refund timescales are determined by the supplier concerned and are outside TravelApp UK's direct control. We strongly recommend that all passengers hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, as this may enable you to recover charges not refundable under supplier terms.
In exceptional circumstances, TravelApp UK may be required to modify or cancel a confirmed booking. This may occur as a result of significant changes imposed by an airline or supplier, operational requirements, or force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, industrial action, or government-imposed travel restrictions. Force majeure events are circumstances beyond TravelApp UK's reasonable control that could not have been avoided even with all due care.
Where TravelApp UK cancels a booking or makes a significant change (defined as a change to your departure airport, a change of destination, a reduction in the standard of your accommodation, or a change of departure date by more than 12 hours) you will be entitled to either accept the revised arrangements, transfer to an alternative booking of comparable standard where available, or receive a full refund of all monies paid to TravelApp UK in respect of the affected booking. TravelApp UK shall have no further liability beyond this in cases arising from force majeure events.
Each passenger is solely responsible for ensuring that they hold all documentation required for travel. This includes a valid passport with sufficient remaining validity (most destinations require at least six months beyond the return date), the required visas and entry clearance, any vaccinations or health certificates, and compliance with any transit country requirements. Requirements vary by nationality, destination, and transit point, and are subject to change without notice.
TravelApp UK recommends consulting the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) travel advisories and the relevant embassy or consulate well in advance of your departure date. We accept no liability for costs, losses, or expenses arising from denied boarding, refused entry, or deportation due to missing, incorrect, or insufficient documentation. The responsibility lies entirely with the passenger.
Flight-inclusive and multi-service packages lasting over 24 hours or including overnight accommodation are protected under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. TravelApp UK is responsible for the proper performance of all services included. If any part of your package is not delivered as promised, and the issue is not caused by your own actions or unavoidable circumstances, you may be entitled to:
Full details of your rights under the Regulations are available at www.legislation.gov.uk.
Airlines reserve the right to alter flight times, change aircraft type, substitute airports, or modify routing at any time. Such changes are made at the sole discretion of the operating airline and are outside TravelApp UK's control. We will endeavour to notify you of any schedule changes as soon as we are informed, and we recommend reconfirming your flights directly with the airline at least 48 hours before departure. TravelApp UK accepts no liability for losses arising from airline-initiated schedule changes.
Special requests such as wheelchair assistance, dietary requirements, seat preferences, and hotel room preferences will be forwarded to the relevant supplier on your behalf. However, fulfilment of such requests cannot be guaranteed and does not form part of the contract between you and TravelApp UK.
TravelApp UK strongly recommends that all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Insurance is particularly important for Umrah packages, long-haul travel, and trips involving transit through multiple countries. TravelApp UK is not responsible for claims that would have been covered by insurance.
Where TravelApp UK acts as a travel agent, our liability is limited to our own acts and omissions. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or defaults of airlines, hotels, ground handlers, or other third-party suppliers, though we will take all reasonable steps to assist in resolving any issues that arise. Where TravelApp UK acts as a package organiser under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, we accept responsibility for the proper performance of the package as a whole, subject to the limitations and defences available under those Regulations.
In all cases, TravelApp UK's maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid by the customer for the affected booking. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment, or additional expenses incurred as a result of changes, cancellations, or supplier failures beyond our reasonable control.
If you experience a problem during your trip, please report it to the relevant supplier (airline, hotel, or ground operator) at the earliest opportunity, so that they have the chance to address the matter at the time. If the issue remains unresolved, please notify TravelApp UK in writing within 28 days of your return date. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a full written response within 28 days of receipt. Complaints submitted outside the 28-day window may not be considered.
