Riyadh Air has launched its new direct Manchester-Riyadh route, giving travellers across Northern England a new non-stop option for reaching Saudi Arabia.
The inaugural flight took place on 17 September 2026, making Manchester the airline's second UK destination after London and its 14th destination worldwide.
The route operates three times a week, using Riyadh Air's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
| Flight | Route | Departure | Arrival | Days |
| RX0417 | Riyadh → Manchester | 1:30am | 6:40am | Tue, Thu, Sat |
| RX0418 | Manchester → Riyadh | 8:40am | 5:20pm | Tue, Thu, Sat |
All times are local.
The new service gives travellers from Manchester and surrounding areas direct access to Riyadh without having to travel to London first. It also opens up onward connection options through Riyadh.
Riyadh Air says its network includes connections to Jeddah, Bangkok, Islamabad, Kuala Lumpur and Manila, although travellers should check individual schedules and connection times when booking.
The airline's Boeing 787-9 features Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, alongside onboard entertainment and complimentary Wi-Fi through its Sfeer loyalty programme.
The Manchester launch follows Riyadh Air's London service, which began on 10 June 2026. The airline says its growing UK network supports Saudi Arabia's wider tourism and aviation ambitions under Vision 2030.
For UK travellers considering Saudi Arabia, the new Manchester route adds another direct option alongside flights from London, potentially making Saudi trips more convenient for passengers based in the North of England.
