Thousands of air passengers are facing continued disruption after a technical glitch affected the UK's air traffic control system.
Airlines cancelled around 327 flights on Wednesday, following approximately 1,750 cancellations on Tuesday when the problem first emerged, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium.
The disruption has affected several major UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham. While operations have resumed at most affected airports, passengers may still experience delays and cancellations as aircraft and crew are repositioned.
NATS, the UK's air traffic control provider, said its operations had stabilised and apologised for the disruption. The government has also called for an investigation into the incident.
Heathrow has advised passengers to travel to the airport only if they have a confirmed operating flight. Other airports have similarly warned that disruption could continue as schedules recover.
If you are flying from the UK, check your flight status directly with your airline before leaving for the airport. Even if your airport is operating normally, your individual flight could still be affected by cancellations or delays.
Travellers with upcoming flights should also allow extra time and keep an eye on airline updates, as it may take several days for schedules to return fully to normal.
