easyJet Adds Five UK Routes for Summer 2027, Expanding Southampton Flights

easyJet has announced five new UK routes for summer 2027, giving travellers more options for domestic trips and European holidays. Three of the new routes are from Southampton Airport, with new services also launching from London Gatwick to Sardinia and London Luton to France.

The routes, announced on 15 October, follow the 18 new easyJet routes for summer 2027 that went on sale in September. Flights are on sale now, with one-way fares from £32.48 per person on selected routes, subject to availability.

Which New easyJet Routes Launch in 2027?

The new routes start between March and July 2027, covering Scotland, Spain, France and Italy.

Southampton Gains Three New easyJet Routes

Southampton sees the biggest change, with new flights to Edinburgh, Malaga and La Rochelle. The additions take easyJet’s Southampton network to 11 routes for summer 2027.

The daily Southampton to Edinburgh service starts on 28 March, linking Scotland’s capital with England’s south coast. Loganair already flies this route, so easyJet’s arrival adds competition, which could mean more choice on fares and times.

From May, easyJet adds twice-weekly flights to Malaga, the gateway to Spain’s Costa del Sol, and La Rochelle, a historic port town on France’s Atlantic coast. Both routes run on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

New Flights From Gatwick and Luton

From 1 June 2027, easyJet will fly from London Gatwick to Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, three times a week. It’s another option for travellers planning a Mediterranean summer holiday.

From 1 July, London Luton gets a twice-weekly service to Rennes, the capital of Brittany in north-west France.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK country manager, said the airline was “delighted” to add the routes, giving customers more choice and connections from their local airport.

easyJet holidays will offer packages to Edinburgh and Malaga from Southampton, combining flights and hotel with 23kg luggage, plus transfers on beach holidays.
